Athens Driver Services Center Temporarily Closes for Remodeling
ATHENS, Tenn. — The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security (TDOSHS) announced the temporary closure of the Athens Driver Services Center for a planned remodel. The facility will close its doors beginning Monday, April 3 and is set to reopen on Monday, April 17.
The remodeling project aims to modernize the Athens Driver Services Center with updated furnishings and an improved appearance. During the two-week closure, customers are encouraged to visit alternative locations, utilize TDOSHS's online services, or schedule an appointment for a visit after April 17. Three nearby full-service Driver Services Centers are available for those who require in-person assistance during the Athens location closure:
