IRON RIVER, Mich. – Residents of Iron River will need to adjust their plans if they intended to visit the Secretary of State office at 992 Lalley Road next week. The office is set to undergo a series of renovations and will be closed from Monday, Aug. 14 through Friday, Aug. 18. Normal operations are scheduled to resume at 8 a.m. (CDT) on Monday, Aug. 21.

The remodeling project will encompass electrical updates, modifications to the counter, and the installation of new carpeting.

However, the temporary closure doesn't mean residents will be left without options.
